I think this is probably one of my favorite pages. I’d like to tell people I wrote the joke, but I’m not sure. We wrote this page about seven months ago, and I can’t even remember what I had for lunch two days ago. I like this page, though. It makes me laugh. – Chris

And with this, we resume your regularly scheduled programming, though it may look different. This is Chris, co-creator of Forces of Good and Evil, with a message from the future. Okay, not the future. I admit it. It’s today. You may have noticed that our updates have been sporadic as of late. That’s mostly my fault. I decided to go back to school to get my Master’s degree, and that’s taken up a bit more of my time than expected. Because of this, you’re going to see some changes.

For starters, you’ll notice the art is different. In fact, it probably looks better, with real shading and everything. Rhys and I are no longer handling the art duties. That responsibility now falls on our friend, and sometimes collaborator, Barry Tetz. He’s a much better artist than either of us, and I think the comic will ultimately benefit from the change of guard. Barry and I actually do another webcomic, which is a bit different. No superheroes. More puns.

Which actually brings us to the next big change: update schedule. Since Barry will be handling the art on both comics, we’re reducing both comics to an update schedule of six comics a month. How will that work? Well, we’re going to a two-comic-one-comic weekly rotation for both comics. For example, Forces updated today. It will update again on Friday. That’s two comics for this week. Next week, it will only update on Wednesday. One comic for next week. The week after that, back to Monday-Friday. Wednesday the week after that. Got it? PWBB will be doing the same thing, but on the opposite rotation.

If it seems overly complicated, that’s because it is. We refuse to make anything easy. If you’d like, you can follow my Twitter feed. I’ll send out comic updates (for both webcomics) when they happen.

Thanks for being patient with us in this time of transition. Here’s to 2012, and the hilarity that is bound to fall from the sky.
